There is a vacancy on the Shade Tree Commission. Contact Mayor Benjamin at kbenjamin@bratenahl.org or co-chair Jim Leslie at shadetree@bratenahl.org if interested. The six-member Commission meets monthly as needed. Their powers and mission statement includes:
“…to study, investigate, plan, advise, report and recommend to Council or to the Mayor any action…for the care, preservation, trimming, planting, replanting, removal of trees and shrubs in public ways…” (Bratenahl Codified Ordinances 903.08)
